GSAT or Global Satellite is a distributor of a paid direct-to-home multimedia broadcast. They have a line-up of international channels, Philippine channels of both local TV and local AM/FM stations. I've recently subscribed to them and the following is my feedback of their services. For 500 pesos a month, you get these channels: The initial payment for installation and the box is Ps 6,500.00. This includes the dish on your roof, the cables, cable box, payment for the installers and 1 month advance subscription. Succeeding payment is Ps 500/month. Advantages of GSAT: I love that they have 8 channels already in High Definition format. If you have screens at home already that are capable of HD display (1080p format), then you will appreciate having that much detail. I am mostly watching educational
